Project WET for Teachers and Families

Mark your calendars for June 30th for our Project WET workshop! Discover new ways to excite your students with project-based learning which links all subjects to nature and to our watershed through hiking, new Project WET activities, and water testing from kayaks. Join us after the workshop at Camp Galilee for a barbeque, camp fire, and more kayaking!

Walking on Water

Our family-friendly water workshop for educators wouldn't be possible without the support of Nevada Project WET, the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection, Otis Bay, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Tahoe Water Supplier Association, and the U.S. Forest Service. A huge THANK YOU to all of our sponsors who help make this fantastic workshop possible. For more information on this workshop, visit our professional development page.

Chip in For Schools

Need a new fundraising idea? Here's a fantastic opportunity provided by U. S. Bank in the "Chip in for Schools" campaign! Participating schools sell tickets for the Reno-Tahoe Open for $15, compared to $20 at the gate, and keep 100% of every ticket sold. Tickets are good for any day of the tournament scheduled for July 30 to August 5, 2012. This wonderful opportunity costs nothing to participate. For more information on how to participate, download this flier.
