Leadership Training & Experience for Young Adults
Want to spend a few days at beautiful Lake Tahoe and hang out with 5th and 6th graders? If the answer is yes, please read on!
A cabin leader gets to play wacky games with kids, lead a night hike, and set an example as a role model for the kids. As a cabin leader, you will gain valuable leadership skills, sharpen your own environmental science concepts, gain knowledge of natural resource careers and earn community service credit!
"The experience of spending almost 24 hours a day with a number of 4th-6th graders had to be one of the greatest ever. They completely looked up to me like I was their big sister; it was totally awesome!" - Cabin Leader
Cabin Leader applicants must be 16 years of age or older at the time of the program. Your school's support of the leadership program is very important. Schools provide a volunteer contact, a meeting place for the training, may waive the 4 day absence, and may award community service.
Please contact us if you have any questions or are interested in participating in this incredible experience!
